Creating the Archive is a project to collect and publish stories about Port Augusta and the region throughout 2008, to share what's going on from an "insider perspective" and to create a time capsule of what happens during Port Augusta Re-imagines!
All the highlights will be featured here on www.northernexchange.net.au which will build week by week during the year as you contribute to it.

- WRITING FOR US
See an event with a friend at Port Augusta Re-imagines, on us! Yes, we have set aside complementary tickets for people who will will write us a story about what it was like to attend the show. We'll provide you with a questionnaire to make it easy, and even have options for people who prefer not to write! Your story will be an important record of the event, and may also be featured on www.northernexchange.net.au
- TAKING PHOTOS AND MAKING IMAGES FOR US
Contribute photos. Video or even sketches of events during Port Augusta Re-imagines and we will feature it in an online gallery on www.northernexchange.net.au
- SHARING STORIES
Do you have something interesting to tell us about Port Augusta? A tidbit of history, a photo of bygone days, an old letter or story about the town? Or even an old home movie or slides of a pageant from the 1970s or an event in the Town Hall? We want to document these treasures for posterity, and we can help you turn your story into a digital memory on www.northernexchange.net.au
- BEING INTERVIEWED
We are looking for interesting people who can tell us interesting stories about Port Augusta -.people live here, work here, moved here or have been here their whole lives. Do you have memories of "how it used to be" or do you have a vision of "how it could be"… Please contact us to be part of the archive. Or do you know someone you want to "dob in" to be interviewed… Let us know!
- MULTIMEDIA
Creating the Archive itself will involve digital media , web and multimedia production. We are looking for people who have some skills and would like more experience or training, or just to be involved in a big, fun, community multimedia project. You will be able to show off your skills on www.northernexchange.net.au
